Rothamsted Park will be home to Harpenden’s first Skate Jam event this Summer – skateboarders, artists, and anyone who wants to get involved are all welcome! It’s a family friendly event and we would love to see as many of Harpenden’s young people as possible.
This is a chance for skateboarders to demo their skills and spectators to enjoy watching the action. Let us know you’re coming by registering to perform using the QR code or click the link. We’re looking forward to seeing some impressive moves and will be in touch to confirm once we have your details.
If you’re interested in graffiti style art, there’ll be an opportunity to work on free standing graffiti boards or just enjoy the new Skatepark artwork designed by local artists Mark Tanti and Faye Sarron and their teams of Harpenden young people. You don’t have to be an expert, just turn up and have a go!
A DJ and food vans will also be at the Skate jam, helping to make it a great event.

FREE PLACES are available at our "Art in the Park" Grafitti event - an exciting community initiative let by graffiti artist Mark Tanti of Demograffix. Sign up to one or both sessions, which will take place on 22nd and 23rd June, to learn about graffiti art and make your mark with your own designs. Whether you have a well tuned talent or would just like to have a go, this is an opportunity to meet Mark, join a community project and enjoy Rothamsted Park. FIND OUT MORE HERE
