The record-breaking 77th Harpenden and Wheathampstead Gang Show returns to the Eric Morecambe Centre, with around 150 local Cubs, Scouts and Explorers aged 9 to 18 on stage. Expect high-energy dance routines, catchy songs, vibrant costumes and comedy sketches from the longest continuously running Gang Show in the world, staged every year since 1949.

Directed by Becca Leigh, with musical direction from Graham Thomson and choreography by Charlie Meade, the show is brought to life by more than 100 adult volunteers behind the scenes and raises funds for local Scouting.

This listing is for the Saturday 16 January matinee performance (2pm). The show runs from Tuesday 12 to Saturday 16 January 2027: 7.15pm Tuesday to Friday, and 2pm and 7pm on Saturday.

Tickets: £12 until 31 October, then £15 per person (early booking offer, subject to availability), plus a £3.50 transaction fee per booking. Tickets go on sale on 5 October 2026 at everyonetheatres.com or by phone on 01582 767525. The show usually sells out, so book early.
